Blue Congrats 2017

As people, we're really interested in other people's business. We want to know what's going on in the lives of those around us.

And there's nothing wrong with that.

But sometimes, we can get a little nosy, and pry a little too much.

For the most part, we don't have a whole lot of business in other people's personal affairs. What they want to share, they will share.

I'm not saying we shouldn't ask questions about friends' personal lives, but let's be careful about the reason we do.

Is it because we just want to know? Because we're curious? Or is it because we love and care about the person and his well-being?

Is it because we want to give advice? Or because we genuinely want to help them with what they're going through - knowing that we could be in the same spot one day?

I guess what I'm getting at is this: mind your own business and wait for someone to come to you about personal issues.

If you have to ask someone about a personal issue, you probably aren't good enough friends with them to know anyway.

You don't have to know everything about those around you and everyone around you doesn't have to know everything about you.

Be a mystery to some! :P

  1. "Be a mystery to some!" That's an excellent philosophy, some people just share everything with everyone, that's honestly something I think I deal with haha.

On the flipside though, I think sometimes introverts can hide their feelings and issues, even from people who are close to them, because they feel they are a burden. That's not healthy either. It's all about balance. :)

    God bless!

    1. Yes I'm glad you liked that! Wow I totally agree! The balance is sometimes hard to find. But really that's what it comes back to - balance. Haha it's funny you would say that this is something you deal with because I'm almost the opposite. I hide things from the people around me when really I should tell them. I'm glad you liked this anyway :) I like how we can still encourage each other and find ways to relate even when we're so different from each other! Thanks so much for the comment Christopher!
