The Spectacular Book Tag

I haven't gotten a tag in a while, but Jonathan over at Fishing for Ideas tagged me for The Spectacular Book Tag!

I don't edit photos very often... can you tell why??
The Rules
1. Tag three to five people.
2. Answer the questions.

And on to the questions!!

1. What are your favorite book covers?
Ok, here we go:

2. What are your favorite book titles?
a.k.a some of my favorite books in general... :)
A Time to Die by Nadine Brandes
Chasing Jupiter by Rachel Coker
Three Rivers Rising by Jame Richards
Counted Worthy by Leah E. Good

3. Have you read a book and didn't know why they named it that and what was the title?
well, I can't think of any right now so, sorry guys.

4. Have you read a book with a character that made you mad?
Uh, that's a no brainer. Obviously. I'm thinking of Detective Rose from the Homelander Series by Andrew Klavan. He just seems so cold and unattached; like no one can relate to him.

5. Is there someone or something from a book you would never want to come across?
Probably the jail guard nicknamed The Bird by the prisoners from Unbroken (Laura Hillenbrand). Guys, he's just scary.

6. If you could meet a character in person from a book who would it be?
I think it would be Parvin from The Out of Time Series by Nadine Brandes. She's been through so much but she never loses hope or gets depressed. She's not always perfect, and she makes mistakes sometimes, but she recognizes her problems and tries to overcome them.

7. What book are you currently reading?
I just recently finished To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and before that I was reading A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. I'm about to start Dare by Tricia Mingerink.
I'm also reading through the entire Bible this year. ;)

8. Have you read a book that made you cry?
YES! A LOT IN FACT. The ones that really stick out to me are The Outsiders by S.E Hinton and Chasing Jupiter by Rachel Coker (so much for happily ever after endings, guys). Also, Les Miserables by Victor Hugo. (Seriously, why does EVERYONE have to die?)

9. What is the weirdest book you have read?
I haven't read very many weird books but I thought On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness by Andrew Peterson was kinda weird. I don't go for the crazy fantasy type books. :D I also didn't like a short story called "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell.

10. What is the worst book/series you ever read?
I haven't read very many bad books per say. I kinda know what I'll like and not like so I just stay away from the books I know I won't like. That being said I didn't especially like Foundlings by Matthew C. Harding. And there's a lot of books that I haven't read that I know I won't like. I can be very picky about books sometimes. :P

11. If you could only read one more book the entire year what would it be?
I think I would choose A Time to Speak by Nadine Brandes since I still haven't read it. (I know, I know!)

So, you know a little bit more about my reading preferences. :)
I also recently redid my About the Artist page and I included a favorite books section that you might just want to check out. ;)

I'd like to nominate:
Mikayla (at her private blog The Inky Girl)
(I really can't think of anyone else at the moment... I know it says three to five tho so if you see this post and want to do the tag on your blog - please do! Just let me know. :D)

Well, it's been a good time everyone, but this post is getting longer than I like. :P So, have a great week!!

(I happen to know from VERY reliable sources that she sat on her bed and wept for ten minutes after finishing Chasing Jupiter... just sayin')

    1. Dude the world doesn't need to know that! Besides, that book is just heartbreaking...
